Once Upon a Time - Festival 2012
Dear Piano Teachers Forum Members:
We are very excited to present the Syllabus for the Piano Teachers Forum Festival 2012: Once Upon a Time. The pieces we have chosen are based on characters and events from stories, legends, and fables. We hope that you and your students will enjoy bringing these pieces to life with lots of imagination and creativity.
To help spark your students' creativity, we are happy to announce a new addition to the festival. Students are invited to present a piece of artwork or a written story that is inspired by their piece to be displayed at the festival recitals. Students should clearly mark the artwork or story with their name and piece and bring it with them on the festival day. Anything submitted will be displayed in the recital hall for all to enjoy.
As in years past, the October meeting will be dedicated to the playing of the syllabus. Please print out and bring your copy with you to the meeting. Additional copies will be available for $2 at the meeting.
